The wedding ring goes on the left ringfinger because it's the only finger with a vein that connects to the heart

Hi lovelies,

A couple of days ago I had a family get together to celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary. That doesn't happen every day and certaintly not to many people these days so we went out for food and drinks with all their children and grandchildren. I'll upload some pictures here to remember the day and share it with you all.

The happy couple
Family picture - All of the children, grandchildren, partners and one great grandson
My grandparents with all their grandchildren. Me and my brother are the youngest(the 2 most on the right) wich is fairly obvious :)
Aperitif at the restaurant
Me and the girlfriend
Girlfriend - Doesn't she look sexy in a suit
My little nephew. He is about an half year old now and if you look closely you can see he just got his first tooth.
Snuggeling with the baby -He held my finger very thight and I ask cutely if I could get my finger back and he just nodded no. So darn cute.
The little guy had so warm and didn't want to go to sleep so out of desperation they put up a babybed and between courses I went over to comfort him because he kept crying.
It was a great day.

Judging a person does not define who they are, it defines who you are

Hi lovelies,

The weather was lovely today, 32 degrees so me and my girlfriend went into the city, walked around and went for drinks. It was lovely and later that night we took some outfit pictures. The sun came from the side wich resulted in pretty bad lighting but I still like them.

Poesie, my girlfriends cat wanted to join us for some pictures.

I wore a shirt from h&m from the mens section with the front tucked in my studded high waisted shorts from forever 21. Underneath the shirt I wore a cropped top from forever 21. All these can be found in my latest 'what I bought'-post. I combined these with old black all stars.
Taking pictures always ends in doing fun and crazy things, in this case shaking my bubble-butt. You can see the lenght of the shorts here and the fact that I wore a bun in my hair so I still used the picture.

What's on my face #1

Hi lovelies,

Today we're trying something new, a 'what's on my face'-post. Following on this post I'll post an 'what I wore today'-post on the outfit that goes with this make-up look.

Face :
I started with Gosh BB cream in shade 2 beige. I rubbed it in with my fingers because I want a real natural effect. I used sun club natural bronzer from essence in shade 1 natural. It's the one for blonder hair and lighter skin. I put it in the hollows of my cheeks with a basic blush brush, nothing fancy here. On my cheeks for blusher I used the middle one of Sleeks lace blush trio. It's called guipure but it's the same as rose gold. I used the same brush.

Eyes : I put a line with the I love Punk eyeliner pen from essence and used the all round mascara on my lashes. I used 2 coats. For my brows I used the eye brow stylist brow pencil from catrice in shade 020 date with ash-ton.

Lips : I chose a bright pink matt lipstick from catrice. It's called Matt about pink.

What I Bought - Antwerp Edition

Hi lovelies,

Yesterday after my 7-10 AM shift at work, me and my girlfriend left for a shopping spree in Antwerp. My aunts and mother went also but seperately. We started off at McDonalds (I got a minion in my happy meal, whoopwhoop) shopped at a bunch of stores like H&M, Zara (The mens section has the best perfumes, my girlfriend tried one, dear god... good to go in a second, just saying. Girls fix your boy or girlfriends some perfume. You will not regret it), Forever 21, Pull and Bear, Kiehl's, MAC (fell in love with Lady Danger lipstick), Fornarina, Due to lack of money we didn't buy something in all those store's but looking around is always fun. We ended the day by eating at Wokaway (shanghai syndrome, you're the freakin' best) and travelled back by train. The day ended on a negative note with an agressive drunk guy harrasing people on the train and a trainconductor that closed our door and wouldn't let us out, he was also quite agressive. What was up with that? Take a look at a couple of our pictures

My happy meal minion.
Our nommies at WokAway. Seafood slammer for her, Shangai Syndrome for me.

A cropped top from forever 21. It's from a plasticy leather material and has a gorgeous back. - around 14€
The back of the top.
As you can see it has cut-outs
A top from the mens section for only 3 euros, I couldn't just leave it behind now, could I?
A simple black hoodie from H&M. I really needed a black one in my life. I have found this one at the mens section wich makes that it's a more loose fit. I already had a bordeaux version and absolutely love it.   - 24.95 €
I bought this dress at Pull and Bear for a familiedinner. My grandparents celebrate their diamond wedding this weekend.   - 19.99 €

Cleaning out the closet

Hi lovelies,

I spend the day and I mean the whole day, hours and hours, man neverending hours cleaning out my closet. My mother demanded I cleaned my closet and ask if I would throw the old stuff out. She demands it every year yet I just lift everything out of the closet and then back it in a slightly more organised order. This time I did it properly and actually washed the inside of my closet and threw the stuff I hadn't worn for years out. Things that are really unwearable will go to the trash and the still decent things will go to a clothingcontainer wich distributes them to people in need. Look how clean it is now.

The left side with jackets, shirts, dresses, skirts and shorts. I do my best to keep them colour-organised but...
The right side with jumpers and cardigans. Underneath a drawer filled with belts, bra-straps, loose laces, wallets and other stuff that doesn't go anywere. Below that a rack with my collection of pants and under that a couple of boxes, stacks of CD's, a juwelry box, and in a shoebox my old glassed and sunglasses.
My drawer with stacks of T-shirts
The drawer with my tops
Everything that has got to go. Things that don't fit with my current style, old stuff ( I mean really old as in that brown top I bought when I was 12 wich is now 7 almost 8 years ago) and stuff that's really worn-out, cheap and childish juwelry in the box and old belts.

Nails of the day #2 - Pimp My Shrimp

Hi lovelies,

Another nail of the day post for you all. I messed it up a little and am really horrible at doing nails but I'm putting it up anyways. I used the colour Pimp My Schrimp by Catrice Cosmetics and the Essence Quick Dry Topcoat. I used that one as a base too. I thought why not? it was not a good idea though. The colour didn't went on as easily whilst it goes great without a basecoat, a decent basecoat will propably do fine either.

The colour doesn't come on right on this picture, but for some reason I wanted a picture of my full hand in here.

The result is a light shrimpy-pink. I like the more old-pink-pinks instead of the really bright barbie-pinks.

What I Bought - Médiacité/Fashion Edition

Hi lovelies,

Today (the first of Juli) it's 2 years and 3 months ago since my girlfriend asked me if I wanted to be her girlfriend. We have been a happy, dating, way too close and cuddly couple since then. For this anniversary we decided to go shopping in Liege. In Liege, wich is about 20km from where I live, is a pretty huge mall wich has the only! Primark in our country. This is just absurd, why don't we have more? But anyways it was the first time I went to Primark or this part of the city actually so it was quite the experience.

We started the day by travelling by bus to Médiacité (this is the name of the mall) wich was horrible, we had to change busses a couple times because there isn't a direct line. We didn't find the place where we had to take the last bus, so we missed our bus. When we finally arrived we went for Primark straight away. Let's start shopping!!! but no, there was a line outside of the store to even enter the store. I had never seen anything like that in our little country. We had to wait but in the end it went pretty fast, it wasn't that bad. The big season reductions started today wich made that it was even crowded.

Primark Oh god what do you do to me, it was MADNESS! People everywhere, clothes on floors everywhere, nothing that was in the right place, more than half an hour waiting lines to try on clothes, wich made that everyone was just trying on clothes everywhere in the store. I dealt with all of that but what baffeled me the most was that half of the people in the store were parents. Not just parents but parents who brought there little children in their buggies to the store. These children get so overwhelmed (ofcourse they are I'm an adult and was soooo overwhelmed) wich leads to crying children wich isn't nice for anyone. I felt sorry for the kids and instantly thought why would a parent want to go through this experience with the hassle of having to take care of a child whilst they're grabbing/looking/trying on clothes. It doesn't seem easy to me.

We finally got to see everything in the store, waited for almost an hour to try on clothes, waited a long time to actually pay for them. When we made it out of the store it was hours later. We went into H&M, Hunkemoller, New Look afterwards. After all of those we were so tired that we went back to our home city. We went for dinner and went home. It was madness but still a really nice day. Here is everything I bought.

I'm going to start with New Look. I bought a summer scarf and a pair of loafers. The scarf is going to come in handy since summer hasn't arrived in Belgium yet. It's summer but feels like fall. The loafers are shoes I allready had in 3 different colours but they are sooo comfy. I decided I needed some black ones to go under skirts and stuff instead of ballet flats wich are way less comfy.

Owl scarf - 9.99 €
A more detailled shot of my owlscarf
Black loafers - 9.99 €
Side perspective of the loafers, they have a little elastick piece on the sides wich makes them very comfortable
Next Primark, I bought some earrings, a disney sweater, a skater dress, a top and a parka or like it says on the card : 'Parka in a pocket'. I needed a raincoat for the summerfestivals. I'm planning to go to Dour again this year and the last 2 years I went, it rained for the whole festival straight.

Gold cross earrings - 1.50 €
Dark green top from striped material - 2.50 €
Mickey Mouse Sweater - 12 €
A blue skater dress - 9 €
Bordeaux raincoat-parka, it can be folded into a pocked wich makes it excellent for the coming festivals - 10 €
Parka : waistline
We had a blast even though it was stressfull. I love my girlfriend for having the patience to go on shopping trips with me.

Hi lovelies,

I went to the birthday party from my girlfriends niece. We spent the day eating pie and pizza, dancing just dance on the wii, feeding donkeys (God they're cute): This post will be a little more elaborate.
