Hi lovelies,
I'm going to continue my Disney adventure story so if you haven't caught up with part 1 yet, you can read that here. I already told you that we got dropped off at the Davy Crocquett Ranch a couple miles from the Disneyland park and we are stuck there without a car. You'll understand that that's not ideal. We spent the entire morning trying to book another night and getting a taxi to the park. We managed to book our cabin at half the price so a big thankyou to the Davy Crocquett Ranch. They were so helpfull and understanding. Especially Celine, you go Celine <3 but anyways we lost half a day making the arrangements, meaning we only had one day instead of 2 days in the park.
My girl in the frontseat with our taxidriver. You can say whatever you want but the reception knows how to get you a fancy taxi. Damn what a great service.
Once in Disneyland we ran straight to Starbucks, after all that stress we needed coffee. We decided to eat there too and treated ourselves to cinnamonroles and pancakes.
Finally made it to the park!!!
The mandatory picturetime
Waiting in line at big thunder mountain
The Robinson cabana
Indiana Jones and the temple of Peril
Time to be a Princess!!!!
Inside the castle
In the castle aka more PrincessTime <3
We almost got it, pinkypromise
I wanted to go in the teacups so badly, the rest on the other hand wasn't so impressed and said no :(
This is were I got my veto, no teacups for me, no it's a small world for you. MUHAHAHA.
Wall-E Love
Those faces
Happiest moment ever. I vowed before we took our trip that I would have pictures with at least one Disneyfigure and it happened, YES!!! But kids nowadays have it a lot harder. When I was a child all the figures and princesses walked around constantly and you could get pictures and autographs so easily. Nowadays you can only see a few of them and only at certain moments. To meet the princesses you even had to make an appointment. So sad I'm glad my autographbook is pretty much filled from when I was a kid.
In line at the Rock and Roller Coaster, where we almost died again. We got fastpasstickets before we went in line so that we could go again right after without waiting. When we got out we ran towards the fastpass entrance and that's where they told us they closed the rollercoaster because they had technical difficulties. Escaped possible death again! I wish I was being dramatic here but we had the worst of luck this weekend, everything went wrong.
The park also closed sooner on Sunday which we forgot so we almost missed the dreamshow. I was irritating everyone because I was constantly saying that I wanted to see the dreamsshow and I missed it... When that thought dawned on me I cried, not only a single tear I cried hysterically. I was so excited and had been looking forward to it and I missed it. But Anais didn't give up, grabbed my arm and ran with me to Main street. Turned out I didn't miss and I got to see the last 10 minutes. Okay I still missed most of it but I was so glad I got to see the finale. I really do have the best girlfriend ever <3
We were standing at the very end so she lifted me up so I could watch the show in complete awwww. (Those extra 'w' are neccesairy) Yes people stared, no I didn't care. I'm a child at heart and the biggest Disneyfan so again thank you Anais for being the best girlfriend ever.
The morning after. Another day full of disappointments. The insurance told us we had to wait for our car till possibly Wednesday so in my head I already planned a trip to Paris, I was seeing the Eiffel Tower, I was shopping at Sephora, walking around all the streets, eating macarons but no none of that happened they made us wait at the station all day instead to than at the last moment say 'hey, we are going to send you home in 15minutes with a train'. We were so disappointed again, we really wanted to go to Paris. We missed most of our vacation in Disneyland because of all the problems with the insurance and we figured it will all be worth it when we get to stay an extra few days and visit Paris but those plans didn't happen :(
I did have a great time in Disneyland but we just had a lot of setbacks.
Goodbyeeee
- Nikki
