DUPES - MAC edge to edge lipliner vs Catrice that's what rose wood do lipliner

Hi babes,
How are you doing? Everytime I make a blogpost promising to blog more often life gets in the way and I end up not blogging at all. So here we are it's been another month but let's try this again. I case I need to re-introduce myself; 'Hi I'm Nikki-The-One-That-Makes-Promises-She-Can't-Keep. Nice to meet you.'
Today I'm doing something I haven't ever done before and that's write about dupes. I've never come across a very good dupe in my collection but I while  ago I found a great one, one that I haven't heard anyone talking about.
I'm comparing MAC Edge to edge lipliner to Catrice That's what rose wood do longlasting lipliner. (let's ignore I wrote the name wrong in the photo's, very professional I know). The colour can best be described as a pink with a slight mauve undertone. Depending on the light it can come across a bit more pink/peach but there definitely can be a mauve undertone. It's that wonderful kind of nude that doesn't wash you out. It still gives a bit of colour instead of looking like concealer lips.
When you compare them you'll see they're the same in colour but the Catrice lipliner is a bit softer in texture, that's why writing with this one came out so much thicker. They are both pretty longlasting but once you've eaten they're gone, sadly.
On the swatches below you can see there's barely any difference. I reach for both products which makes me conclude I can't feel much difference.  MAC is the left picture and Catrice on the right.
The MAC one is a bit longer so it contains more product but that still doesn't mean it's worth its 15 pricetag compared to the 1,99€ pricetag of an equally good product.

If you've found any other drugstore dupes please let me know in the comments below.

Goodbyeeee

Working with natural light turned out a bit harder than usual today, the colour doesn't seem to be the same in any of the pictures but the colour on the lipswatches is the most accurate.

What's on my face #21 - Lipliner me? Who saw that one coming?

Hi lovelies,
After seeing countless tutorials on the Kylie Jenner lips I decided to give lipliner a go. I didn't want the nineties brown lipliner and pale lipstick thing happening to me but after trying lipliner... It really is a great thing if you just choose the right colour. I also refused to overdraw my lips so I really don't do the tutorials justice. The lesson on all tutorials is do what feels right for you and suits you instead of just following the current hype.
Make-up
Base : Estee Lauder daywear tinted moisteriser // Catrice camouflage cream // Hema blusher
Eyes : Maybelline colour tattoo in on and on bronze // Kiko colour sphere in 16 // MUA undress me too eyeshadow palette in dreamy and obsessed // NYC liquid eyeliner in pearlised black // Maybelline colossal volume mascara
Lips : Catrice lipliner in That's what rose wood do! // MAC mineralize rich lipstick in wear with flare
So what's the deal yes to lipliner or still a no for you?

What I bought - December beauty bits

Hi lovelies,
In the beginning of December I did a quick round of beautyshopping and got a perfume from my aunties. I've been wanting this perfume for absolutely ages. It smells divine. My other purchases are also a big hit. The nailpolishes are cheap but great quality and opaque after one coat. They are perfect christmassy colours. I've finally opened my heart to lipliner and it was a great decision. The colours are great and creamy. It definately makes a difference.
Lancome la vie est belle l'eau de parfum
Catrice Christmas nailpolishsets
Essence lipliner - red blush
Essence lipliner - honey berry
Catrice longlasting lippencil - that's what rose wood do!
