A current Lush collection

Hi babes,
Let's be honest here, I've had a bag full of Lush goodies standing in a corner in my room, just waiting around until I was done procrastinating. By now it's way to late to call it a haul. So I'll call it a collection. These aren't all the lush goodies I have laying around but the shampoo bars I use on the daily are too used to be photographed. If you're lucky you may still find these buys in the January sales or the current collection. I bought these in November from the Halloween and Christmas collection.

I haven't used any of these items before so there is not a lot I can tell you. I mainly made this blogpost because I love taking pictures of Lush products. They're just so pretty. Besides who doesn't love a good flatlay.

From the bottom to the top
- The Magic Of Christmas bubble bar
- Peeping Santa bubble bar
- Lord Of Misrule bath ballistic
- Frozen bathbomb
- Dragon Egg bathbomb
- The Experimenter
- Samples of the Comforter and Snow Fairy showergel

What I Bought - Lush & The Bodyshop

Hi babes,
Yesterday I went shopping in Maastricht. I bought mainly skincare bits, if you're interested I'll show them below and add some context and information about the products.
I went to Lush and The Bodyshop. I adore both of these shops, I always have the best experience. The sales assistants are always prepared to help and give plenty of information. The lady in The Bodyshop even gave me a skintest which made it easier to choose the right product. It sounds so obvious but nobody ever offered me one and I thought I had normal skin and could use about everything, turns out my skin is dry. I knew I had dry skin in Winter but in Summer? That was a surprise. Luckily I was already shopping in the right range but that was a happy accident. I just bought what was new and popular.
I repurchased my summer moisturiser which is the vitamin E aqua boost sorbet. This is genuinely the nicest moisturiser. It sinks in so quickly and feels very light on the skin whilst still giving a lot of hydration. I also purchased the drops of youth eye concentrate. It feels so nice and cooling underneath the eyes. I'll have to update you on whether it's still good for my skin in Winter because I do get really dry undereyes. For Summer it's certainly the best thing ever. I also got the peppermint cooling foot spray as a freebie from the lovely people at The Bodyshop. It isn't something I would purchase but now that I've tried it... It definitely felt great to spray on my feet after a long shopping day. I guess it's up to you if you would be interested in this sort of thing.
I first became interested in Lush for it's bathboms but recently I've looked into the brand some more and they have lots of great other products. I especially wanted to try the Superbalm. This is a balm you work into your scalp (only using tiny amounts because it contains a lot of oils) let it sink in for 20 minutes and wash out afterwards. It's meant for people who suffer from eczema or psoriasis (which I do suffer from). So I decided to try this because the products my dermatologists had recommended didn't do anything. Why not try something natural instead? I also purchased the Seanik shampoo bar. The shampoo bars are told to last as long as 3 250ml bottles of shampoo which is better for your purse and the environment. I got the Seanik bar which will hopefully make my hair voluminous due to the seasalt. Anais got the Jumping Juniper shampoo bar (the purple one) for greasy hair. I will probably steal this away from her multiple times that's why I included it in this haul. Last but not least I stayed in the blue theme by buying the Big Blue bath bomb. It's impossible to leave a Lush store without buying a bathbomb, let's face it. As a freebie I got the Prince shaving cream.

What I bought - December beauty bits

Hi lovelies,
In the beginning of December I did a quick round of beautyshopping and got a perfume from my aunties. I've been wanting this perfume for absolutely ages. It smells divine. My other purchases are also a big hit. The nailpolishes are cheap but great quality and opaque after one coat. They are perfect christmassy colours. I've finally opened my heart to lipliner and it was a great decision. The colours are great and creamy. It definately makes a difference.
Lancome la vie est belle l'eau de parfum
Catrice Christmas nailpolishsets
Essence lipliner - red blush
Essence lipliner - honey berry
Catrice longlasting lippencil - that's what rose wood do!

What I Bought - Winter Edition

Hi lovelies,
Shopping is an expensive hobby, thank god there are sales. Sales are the best excuse for shopping and I obviously couldn't let them pass.
At New Look I found this dress for 24.99 €. It's a bodycon dress made from scubamaterial and has lovely navy details in the flowers.
There was a 50% discount on knitwear. So I bought this cropped ribbed black sweater which was originally 24.99€
I also bought my first Christmas sweater, I chose this grey penguin cropped sweater which also was 24.99€.
Lastly from New Look I got this long cardigan in a spotted grey colour for half of the original 24.99€. I got this a couple sizes up because I like my cardigans slouchy.
From Jack and Jones I got this flannel shirt for 29.95€
I also got a few more sweaters from vero moda. This blue-black one with zip details for 24.95€ which has a lovely loose fit.
There was a 3 for 2 sale in Vero Moda and Jack & Jones so this grey sweater happened to be my free one. It's also a baggy fit. It was originally 12.95 €.
Lastly from Zara I got this scarf for 22.95€. It's soo warm, huge and soft. It's the perfect scarf.

What I bought - Ikea edition

Hi lovelies,
Nice to see you again. Lately I've been on a spendingspree and I didn't discriminate. Not only fashion and make-up shopping has been done but I also planned a trip to Ikea. Yes try to contain yourself this is an Ikea haul and I couldn't be more excited. There is nothing more fun than shopping in Ikea. Who doesn't love choosing furniture for your future-but-at-this-point-still-imaginary home? Besides the obvious furniture(that I didn't get to purchase yet) Ikea also has an excellent homewearselection so let's see what I got in that department.
Let's start with this bedding. This is the SÖTBLOMSTER bedding which costs 24.99€. The material is soft and breezy and just amazing. This blue brown paisleyprint is really back in fashion, if it's your cup of tea it really is a winner.
Something I actually needed and wasn't just an impulse buy is this laptopstand. I saw this a while ago in an EssieButton video and it seemed/is a great idea. This particular one is the dotted black and white BRÄDA laptopstand. I must say it isn't the biggest one out there so if you have a 17 inch laptop it will probably be a bit to small for you but for me it works great. It came home with me for 12.99€
Next are these two NÄVVIVA pillows, 3.99€ each. They are about half the size of a normal pillow but they are very firm and I especially love them to lay in my neck when I'm watching TV. I first bought one for me but it was going to stay at my girlfriends house and Anais didn't want one. I made a bit of scene when she put hers back because I couldn't understand as I love them so much. Nonetheless we came home after our shoppingspree and I laid my new pillow in the bed and Anais layed her head on it and she just had to have one herself so we went back to get her her own. If that doesn't say how great this pillow is I don't know what will. The other pillows are also from Ikea and are part of the EMMIE RUTA bedlinnen.
I went wild in the bedlinnendepartment I know but the second kind of bedding is this ÖDESTRÄD orange stripey bedding. It was only 9.99€ so I couldn't leave it behind. The fabric is also very soft but feels a bit more crisp and like linnen than the other one.
My new pride and joy... the ELDBLOMMA squirrelpillow. Isn't this just amazing? Definitely worth the 9.99€.
To match my orange sheets I also bought these orange SPRALLA candles for 3.99€. I don't know how to explain the scent. It's a fresh linnenscent I think but don't quote me on that. They kick off a lot of scent without being too overpowering. The little Disney toys are from Disneyland but I already wrote about them here.
For my dresser I bought this TRENSUM mirror for 4.99€. It may look ridiculous because my dress comes with a huge mirror. The problem with it is the width of the dresser is obviously between me and the mirror but because I'm shortsighted and wear glasses I can't see myself in that mirror when I'm trying to put on eyeliner or mascara. #glasswearingproblems
Lastly we raided the kitchendepartment and we came home with a ALLEHANDA mixingbowl with a lid (8.99€)so you can mix without splashing everywhere. It's heavy and has silicone on the bottom so it doesn't slide over the counter when mixing. I also bought the DRÖMMAR backingtray for 4.99€. The blue silicone SOCKERKAKA caketin (5.99€). Red silicone STINN ovenmitts for 2.99€ each and lastly the cutest DRÖMMAR cookiecutters your eyes ever did see in the form of woodland creatures, for only 3.99€.

I hope you loved this as much as I do buying it

What I bought - Autumn style

Hi lovelies,
You may or may not know but Autumn and Winter are my favorite shoppingseasons. The weather may suck and there's a possibly of me freezing to death but for shopping it's the best time of year. I feel like you obviously wear less clothes in Summer so I also shop less. Clothes just interest me less in that season. I'm all about thights, jackets, sweaters and scarfs, as soon as September hits I'll start shopping. Let's see what I've bought since September and I wish I could say it stopped here but I already placed an order on boohoo so prepare for that in the future.
Bershka kaki parka with detachable furry inside (99€)
H&M striped croptop (4.95€)
H&M grey high wasted tube skirt (4.95€)
C&A cable knit sweater (15€)
Zara knit sweater with 3quater length sleeves and a leather neckline (29.95€)
H&M woolen hat (either about 13€ or 20€ I don't remember, sorry)
Rise against tshirt (present from Anais)
H&M striped high wasted tube skirt (4.95€)
Zara striped tshirt with slits on the side (reduced to 3.99€)
H&M striped bodycon dress (9.95€)
H&M woolen hat (either 13 or 20€)
I absolutely love my purchases and have worn them loads already. I hope you liked this update from me.

What I bought - YSL lipstick edition

Hi lovelies,
Amongst a few shoppingtrips I acquired lipsticks and surprisingly they all turned out to be by Yves Saint Laurent. I need to stress these were a few shopping trips spread over 2 months. Fall is my favorite time to shop, all the great winter stuff comes out and everything from sweaters to lipsticks is better.

Considering I worked during the summer months I had some money to spare and decided I could spend some of that on high end stuff and those coupons I got from spending to much in the first place also enabled some purchases. Let's get started.
Let's discuss packaging. Aren't these just gorgeous? I realise you pay more for better packaging but when you whip these out of your handbag, it really is worth the extra money.
Ah the one with the best packaging in my opinion. This is the YSL Rouge Veloptee in shade 1 Nude Beige. I think I found the perfect nude with this one. It's a very muted pink shade which resembles my natural lip colour without being to light because my lips can get very light from time to time. It's neutral enough to go perfectly with a heavy smokey eye and still not too nude to go with a light make-up look. It's also really moisturising which does leave a little bit of a sheen behind but if you dab the lipstick in with your fingers it will appear more matte if that's more to your taste.
The most Autumn related purchase is the YSL Pur Couture lipstick in shade 28 Rose Boheme. It's a dark fall lipstick without being too in-your-face like a dark purple. It's a pink-purple berry shade that has a blue undertone in my opinion. The finish is a special one, shiny and still matte, shimmery without seeing glitter in a swatch. It's gorgeous but I do realise this shade isn't for everyone. The packaging is also very pretty, sleek and classy.
I already did a review on the kiss and blush lipsticks here. As you can read there I absolutely loved them and I wanted more of them and that surely happened. I bought 2 extra shades the first one being this pink shade (shade 8 Pink Hedoniste). I love how matte they are without being drying. It's a lovely subtle shade of pink that's still opaque without being too overpowering.
This is the second Kiss and Blush in shade 5 Rose Effrontee. This really isn't a subtle shade but pretty nonetheless. It's a pinky red shade that really brightens up your entire face. I absolutely love it.
The aftermath of blogging and lipswatches.

The YSL lipstick offering has really blown me away and they are all I wear lately. Sometimes it feels good to spend a bit more money on high end make-up. I have not regretted it for a second. How about you do you prefer high end or not?

What I Bought - The Body Shop Skincare

Hi lovelies,
I have another small haul planned for you today. To quote Amelia from Amelia Liana I've been #FeelingSpendy lately. My spending took place in The Body Shop and I left 34€ lighter. I had a couple of things on my wishlist and bought a small selection of them. I also have my eye on their BB cream and the waterbased primer. Let's look what I purchased.
I purchased these 3 products and received a sample. I went to the store for the Vitamin E face mist (12€). It's perfect for summer. It feels refreshing on the skin and also sets make-up. It has the same scent as the rest of the Vitamin E range which is slightly rose-like. My skin feels soft and a bit more matte after spraying the face mist. I was also in need for a new moisturiser and bought the Vitamin E aqua boost sorbet (19€). Sounds fancy huh? Let me tell you it feels fancy. It sinks in really fast, I love the fabulous glass packaging and it has the same smell I talked about before. Even the girlfriend loves this products, she loved the texture and how fast it sinks in. Lastly I got a mini version of the shea shower cream (3€) for the festival I'm currently attending as you read this. At the till I got this sample of the bodyshop moringa body butter. I love the smell and the texture of the bodybutters.
There is no product from The Body Shop that I haven't liked.

What I Bought - Summer Primark Edition

Hi lovelies,
I went to Primark last Monday with Anais and got a bunch of stuff. Primark is not the kind of shopping you do for fun, it takes blood sweat and tears. There are so many people, it's just madness. There are lines for everything, everybody pushes, women take all their children inclusive pushchairs. It takes a lot from me and each time I get cranky and nearly cry, that's what Primark does to me so it better be worth it and it was. I got a bunch of stuff I needed but there was so much stuff I wanted but didn't need so had to leave behind. Clotheswise for women it wasn't that great but I loved the accessories, make-up bags, homewear,... For a change they also had things my size, a 36 in Primark? Madness! In total it took us 3 hours to get out of the store because again crazy lines to try things on (btw they only let you try 8 things which is ridiculous and a big no no if you ask me) and at the till. Let's see what I got.
This whole lot was purchased for the total of 48.50€.
I needed new flipflops for summer and festivals so I bought these ones for 1.5€ but I also couldn't leave these slip-on vans-lookalikes. They were only 8€.
Right at the till was the handbagsection, when I was waiting I spotted this little bag. I got this for the festivals because I wanted a new festivalbag, a small one but still big enough to fit a cardigan and other essentials. This burgundy number will do and for 10€ you can't really go wrong.
The inside has a main compartment, little pocket on the front and a pocket with zipper for safety reasons.
They also had 2 gorgeous slouchy backpacks that would look great on a festival but I don't really trust that, I mean it's on your back in a crowd so you can't protect it and people can easily steal things out of it, sadly that happens.
The quality of this picture is seriously lacking, do not take pictures late at night peeps. I needed a new brush after I wrecked another one so I got this paddle brush for 2€. I also ran out of eyeliner so when I spotted this 2€ black felt liner, I had to try it. In the homewear section I also found this vanilla-coconut candle for 4€ that smelled delicious, as you can see I was already trying it and had to blow out the candle because my picture kept turning black.
28 hours sounds promising to me.
For clothes I went for these 3 tshirts, the rest of the clothessection did not really wow me. The ramones band tee was 10€, the ninja turtles tshirt was reduced to 3 and the Bambi one was 8€.

That was everything, I hope you like what I bought
