Radio-silence

Hi lovelies,
I am currently still at the seaside making sandcastles, laying on the beach if the weather allows that and other fun stuff but the sad news is that I ran out of blogposts by this point so until I'm back my blog will hold a vacation too that shouldn't be that long anymore. A couple more days without me, you can do it!

What I bought - Festivals + extra randoms

Hi lovelies,
I went to Kruidvat for a couple of festival essentials that were on sale and bought some randoms extra things along the way. Okay the festival I'm going to are still 3 weeks or a month away but you can't be too prepared.
I wanted to try the Kruidvat own brand dryshampoo so I bought that for 2.99€ and stocked up on the batiste xxl volume dryshampoo. I really love that one it's a bit more expensive than the regular batiste dryshampoos but it's worth it's 5.59€. The 20% off was just a nice bonus.
I also bought the Syneo deodorant which is supposed to work for a full 5 days when you applie it once at night. I was intrigued and it had 25% off sale which made them 14.99€ instead of a whopping 19.99€. I found chiaseeds for the first time and already made a juice with them, they were 4.99€. Another festival essential are these eye make-up remover pads. They are oilbased from the Kruidvat own brand because they are just cheap(1.99€). For festivals you don't want to bring your expensive stuff or big bottles of make-up remover with separate cotton pads that get gross anyway.
Lastly I couldn't leave this nailpolish behind, it's another Essence Color & Go nailpolish(1.69€) to extend my collection. I went for this gunmetalgrey colour filled with glitter that's called headphones on!.

Mermaids do exist

Hi lovelies,
How do you do? I'm currently at the seaside to celebrate that my exams are done. This means pre-written-posts for a while but at least there are blogposts right? Today I'm talking about the new Zoeva eyepencil I showed you in this blogpost.

So let's break things down. For this day I only wore eyeliner and mascara because most days that's all I fancy and have time for. You do not need a full face of make up on a day to day basis. As much as I love make-up that's just not the message I want to send to people who read my blog but also to people who have to look at me during a normal day. Okay that being said, today I wore the Zoeva Graphic Eyes+ eyelinerpencil in Good Karma. A bright mermaid green with golden glitter that retails for 5.20 euros on the Zoeva website. The texture is so smooth and it is in fact waterproof! The finish is a more green than teel like in these pictures but it really is the perfect mermaid colour if you ask me. I paired it with the Maybelline Cat Eyes mascara for natural fluttery lashes and voila done with my make-up for today.

Make-up and vanity organisation

Hi lovelies,
Today we're discussing vanity-organisation. The day I took these pictures I cleaned my entire room and re-organised everything and I am so proud of myself because I hate doing these things and knowing myself this clean room won't last longer than 2 days. My dresser/vanity is placed in my bedroom and holds the stuff that I use after I come out of the bathroom with is basically everything except a toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo and a razor. That's all because I share my bathroom with my brother and in the morning there is not enough time for me to do all my make-up and stuff in the bathroom because he also has to shower before school and my stuff would overtake the whole bathroom and he wouldn't  be able to cope. Let's take a look shall we.
Let's start off with the vanity itself. I bought this at Ikea and made my father drive across the country for this one because the nearby store was sold out and they were not making this model anymore. I needed to have it and actually cried when I heard I wouldn't be able to own it so my dad felt sorry and drove halfway across the country to get me one of the last remaining ones. I know I'm a bit of a dramaqueen but I had my heart set on it because it's soooo beautiful. It's also super handy because of the mirror and the drawers underneath. I can't do my make-up whilst I sit down so a table would be a waist of space. Btw Ikea still makes the version with the mirror on the table which does look stunning but wasn't what I wanted. The only problem I have with this is that I have to walk to my big mirror on the otherside of the room because I have problems with my eyes and without my glasses I can't see far enough to do my make-up in the mirror on the vanity. Considering it's impossible to do my make-up with my glasses on I have to do the precisionwork on the other side of the room but that really doesn't bother me. For what's on my dresser I took more detailed pictures and we'll start from left to right.
Completely to the left you can see a bag from the bodyshop, that's where I store my empties which are waiting for the next emptiesblogpost. Next to that I store the hairproducts I use regularly a Dove leave-in conditioner, a L'oreal rootbooster, L'oreal texturising spray, 2 heatprotectantsprays by kruidvat and L'oreal, 2 batiste dryshampoos, a seasaltspray by got2b and my L'oreal Elnett hairspray. In the drawer fits most of my make-up. There is no system for the inside of these... Just stuff everything in and hope everything fits.
View from the top of that drawer.  I have a couple of holders and I stuff make-up in it. Left to right in the back: neutral lipsticks and balms, mascaras, bright lipsticks and an odd eyecream from the bodyshop where I lost the lid from. In the front 2 candleholders I put all the eyepencils and liners, browpencils, eyeshadowbases and a light-reflectingconcealer, all the eyestuff basicly and in the last candleholder I store all the lipcrayons and stains.
In between the drawers I store my bigger make-up palettes, a jar with cottonpads and q-tips and next to that all the skincare. In the back 2 deodorants, an eyemake-up remover by Nivea, Garnier micellair water. Before that a Kruidvat SPF50, Shisheido oil, a little miniset from the bodyshop seawead range containing the nighttreatment, daycream and toner (the cleanser is in my shower), a shiseido eyecream and Garnier hydra-adapt moisturiser
On the top of the right drawer I store my perfumecollection. Yes over the years it has accumulated to a collection. The thing is... I never finish a perfume whenever one is running low I buy a new one and keep that little part that's left for special occasion and basically keep it forever because I can't stand the thought of not having them anymore. That's sad isn't it but I attach memories to things and that's why I'm a hoarder. Let's run you through : Givenchy very irresisteble eau de toilette and eau de parfum, Chanel Nr 5 eau de parfum, Chanel coco mademoiselle eau de toilette and eau de parfum, Bvlgary jasmin noir l'essence, Armani idole, The BodyShop white mush smoky rose, a perfume my mom brought from vacation without a name and an empty bottle in the back which contained Notorious by Ralph Lauren which was the perfume Anais wore when we first started dating and we can't find it anymore in stores... It makes me sad but every once and awhile I sniff it and it still melts my hearts. I am aware I own the same perfumes but it different intensities but they do really smell different without being too different from what you like in a scent, if you get what I mean?
Lastly into the drawer is the rest of my make-up and on the other half hairstuff and a bit of jewelry. Next to the drawer is the make-upbag I use everytime I sleepover somewhere and the last holder which hold all beauty's extra bits and bops : hairbrush, teasing brush, make-up brushes, nail file, haircutting scissors and lashcurlers which I never use.

Voila that was a very long blogpost, wasn't it? And a little different of the things I usually do, change is nice.

What's on my face #13 - Bright Purple Eyes

Hi lovelies,
I've been trying my new Zoeva palette a lot lately and I've created this purple-fairy-like eyeshadowlook. I'm so excited about this, it looks so damn cute. I look like a fairy, and I'm thrilled.
I used 3 products for this look:
- Zoeva retro future palette
- Bourjois megaliner
- Catrice maximizer mascara
Let's discuss technique, shall we? I've applied the light violette shade over the entire lid, the shade is called 'Timetravel'. In the crease and outer corner I've applied 'Cosmic Chic' which is a purple with a blue undertones but just looks bright purple on the eyes. I did the same on the lower lashline, 'Timetravel' in the inner corner and 'Cosmic Chic' from the middle to the outer corner. I've lined the eyes with a little wing with the megaliner by Bourjois and a couple of coats with maximizer mascara.
What do you think? Would you wear this kind of bright make-up?

What I bought - Asos, Zoeva and H&M edition

Hi lovelies,
I've been shopping, I've  been shopping. That's what exams to do me... online shopping is inevitable. So in between studysessions I was roaming the Asos and Zoeva website and orders were placed. I also popped into H&M before my exams started so I will show you those purchases too.
 The whole lot.
Let's start with H&M, I bought this cute white summer dress for 9.95€. I already wore this in this blogpost. The whole back is the same lace as the cutouts at the waist.
I also picked up this black high-waisted bodycon skirt for about 5€. It has a wrapped design with happens to make a cutout on the leg when you wear it. It looks so cute and I will post an outfitpost with this soon, I hope. It's such a basic skirt but so special and different at the same time.
Onto my Asos order, this was my first Asosorder ever. The whole site is just amazing but let's discuss what I bought. I bought 2 bikinitops, the same model but in 2 different colours. I bought these because in summer I rather wear a bikinitop than a bra, it's more comfortable and with tops with the big armholes for example it looks better and isn't as obvious as a bra. I chose these ones because they are padded and have a cute T-shaped back. They open in the front and look amazing on. The black one cost me 14.08€ and the striped one about 16€. Next to the bikinis I bought slouchy beach pants as they call it on the website for about 22€. It's a grey harempants and are soooo soft. I really needed these because I love to wear harempants when I work as a nurse in summer. It's just much easier to move and work because jeans are just not comfortable when you have to work. Okay they look a bit like pajamapants but I really don't care, comfort over fashion...
Lastly onto zoeva, they are a German brand that are most famous for their brushes but I also wanted to try their make-up and I'm really impressed! The quality, pigmentation and colourselection is great. First I was drawn to was the retro future eyeshadowpalette (16.80€) It has a bunch of cooltoned bright colours with great pigmentation. I really love it and have tried it already a couple times. It's part of story palettes series which has 4 palettes and I really want the neutral palette too but was a bit short in money. I also bought a waterproof eyepencil in a great mermaid green colour, so gorgeous. It goes on really smooth and looks gorgeous on the eye. The eyeliner comes at 5.20€ and my exact colour is good karma. Lastly I purchases the Zoeva smudger brush(6.20€) to apply all these great eyeshadows under my eyes and it has already proved to me how wonderful their brushes really are.

What the munchies got up to #6

Hi lovelies,
I'm writing this blogpost at 23.30 on tuesday evening. It just daunted on me that I have no more blogposts planned so I'm trowing the last footage I have in this blogpost and after this one I should really start taking pictures again otherwise there are no more blogposts and that's unacceptable right?
For today I'm going to show you some animalshots from lately, brace yourself for cuteness.
Kitties and boxes, it never gets old.
Hamsterpudding as I call it, Marshie can lie so flat at her tummy that she appears boneless that's why I call it hamsterpudding.
I noticed this little family at the stream at Anais' school. Let me paint you a picture here, I walk to her school to study there because I didn't have class. I notice the ducks, grab my camera, yell at Anais 'Wait there are ducks, I need to take a picture!' and this all happened when all the fancy business-studies-students were staring at me like 'what a weird girl, she does not belong here' and hell no I don't, I'm not fancy and I will stop to take pictures of a duckfamily whenever I please!
Bunnies before this little fluffy assisted me in outfitpictures which can be seen here
I hope you liked this last-minute blogpost

What's on my face #12 - Blue bottom liner

Hi lovelies,
Blue liner... It's something I've always liked so I revisited the look and I'm really fond of the look I've created. I hope you like it too. I went for a goldy brown neutral look on my toplid en a bright blue on my bottom lashline combined with a neutral face.
Products :
Face
- NYC smooth skin mouse foundation in 701 natural beige
- Catrice camouflagecream in 020 light beige
- Essence sunclub bronzer in blonde
- The balm instain blush in houndstooth
Eyes
- MUA undress me too palette : tranquil, wink, lavish, dreamy
- Zoeva retro future palette : electric youth
- Bourjois mega liner
- Essence get big lashes mascara
Lips
Bourjois color boost in peach on the beach

Technique :
I always start with eyes because you can have fall-out that would ruin your foundation and also I find eyes the most important and if I got short in time I would still have the most important things done. I applied tranquil all over the top lid, wink in the middle part and dreamy in the outer corner/crease. I used lavish in the crease as a transitional colour. After that I grabbed the Zoeva palette and used the bright blue shade on my bottom lashline and extended it as a winged liner. A little winged liner on the top with the Bourjois mega liner. A few coats of mascara and eyes are done. Face is the same as always : mouse foundation everywhere, camouflage cream to hide my dark circles, a bit of bronzer on the cheeks, jaws and forehead. Blush on the apples of my cheeks and dapped the bourjois color boost 'till the gloss went matte.
I really like it, a bit more colourful for summer.

It's summer and the memories are just waiting to happen

Hi lovelies,
Last week Anais shot some pictures of me in the garden and I loved so many of them that this is going to be a picture-heavy blogpost. Remember when I told here that I went shopping with Anais' siblings? Well I wasn't exactly looking for me but I can never only shop for someone else. It just gets boring so I have to take a break and shop for me for a little while. That's exactly what happened that particular Saturday at H&M. I ended up with a skirt and the dress I'm wearing in the pictures. I'll be doing another 'What I bought' soon because I also did a sneaky online order on my studybreaks. Back to dress in question, it's from the H&M divided collection and only costs 9.95 euros. That's basically nothing for a dress, right? I love how suitable it is for summer. You can't go wrong with white and lace in summer.
What I wore
Dress - H&M
Jeans shirt - Only
Yellow Allstars - Converse
The plant poked me and I was not pleased. I am just a little child where you can see every emotion on her face but overexaggerated.
I hope you liked this post and would like to see you on my blog again on Monday for my next blogpost.

Someday randoms #7

Hi lovelies,
My life has been a bit boring lately. Examseason has started and is going hard, I wish I could say the same about me, unfortunately all I want to do is sleep because exams really drain me. My life has been pretty home-bound except when I have to go to school to take my exams.

As you will see on the pictures below the weather has been going crazy lately. From rainbows to summerdays from 34 degrees to hailstorms. It's been crazy and slightly nervewrecking. Picture a big storm and then try to study when you're in your mind already planning what to do incase of fire brought by lightning strikes or other emergencies. Trust me not a good combo.
Rainbows
Studying
Crazy clouds
Selfie time whilst studying. I applied extensions out of pure boredom and to see the effect because I have cheap clip-ins but never use them but as you can see I didn't blend them in all that well.
Continue studying
Trying on my girlfriends gaming headset, I look like a pilot.
I tried to put Pluisje, the bunny in it's outside home in the garden. She did not agree with it, saw a chance of freedom, attacked me and jumped out of my arms and ran for it. It took quite some time and 4 people to catch her again. In the end we had to grab the other bunny so that she would try to to make babies with him and that's how we eventually got her. Naughty bunny.
My girlfriend is officially the best girlfriend ever because she brought me a late-night Mcdonalds delivery. I got the new wrap, the spicy one. In my excitement my picture got blurry.
Handpicked cherries out of our garden, I've also been munching on fresh raspberries out of our garden.
Since the exams started I've also started to drink fruitjuices daily. I'm trying to be a little more healthy but not to the extreme because I love my junkfood but when I'm not eating junkfood I'm trying to get more fruit en veggies in my body. I am aware that fruitjuices contain a lot of sugar but I really don't mind. It will still be better for you than cola or other carbonised drinks.
Giant berries

As you can see my life has been all about studying, looking at the weather outside my window and eating. What have you been doing?
