Get Ready With Me - Long Overdue Christmas Edition

Hi lovelies,
Remember a long time ago when I promised a get ready with me Christmas edition? Even though we're close to February now, the day I finally managed to photograph every step of the way has come. By this point it's probably more for my own memory that I make this because by this time it really has got no point anymore. Anyways... prepare, get yourself a cup of coffee and observe.
Let's start with hair. When my hair was almost dry I spritzed some heatprotectant by L'oreal Elnette for curls in my hair. When my hair was dry I curled it with a spiraled curlingiron. When I was done I applied hairspray, brushed the curls out and removed the frizz with mermaidhair texturising spray by Got2Be. Add a glittery hairclip and you're done.
Prep the skin by removing all of the remaining make-up or sleepiness with some micellair water and hydrate your skin with your favorite moisturiser. I used the Vitamin E aqua boost sorbet moisturiser by The Body Shop.
I always start with eye make-up before I do my face make-up just to prevent having to start all over again because of glittery fall out. I started with using the L'oreal Colour Riche pencil in Enigmatic Brown as an all over base. I made the colour more intense by using Dreamy from the MUA undress me too palette in the outer corner and under the lower lashline, Fiery in the inner half and shy in the inner corner. All from the same eyeshadowpalette. I applied winged eyeliner using the pearlised black liquid liner from NYC. Made my lashes look a whole better by applying the Physians Formula Organic Wear mascara. Lastly I used Matt Abdul from the Meet Matt Nude palette from The Balm in my eyebrows.
For face make-up I used Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation in shade Ivory. Catrice Camouflage Cream in light beige went under my eyes and around my nose. I bronzed up the face with my trusty Essence sun club bronzer for blondes. I applied a rose blush with golden glitter on my cheeks using Sleek's rose gold blush. Last but not least I used Maybelline Color Sensational lipstick in Pleasure me Red.
My dress is from Zara, thights from Veritas and heels from Pepe Jeans.
Even though this post is very very late due to interning, exams and other parts of life I hope you still enjoyed it.

Goodbyeeee

The empties round-up #4

Hi lovelies,
Time for another empties round-up. I've mainly used up some haircare and make-up remover.
Starting with make-up removers. I used up a Garnier micellair water. I love this one. It has great value for money because it's only 6 or 7 euros I believe but the bottle is twice as big as the micellair waters from other brands. It also easily saturates the cotton pad without having to use a lot of product. It makes my skin feel very clean. I also used up 2 packs of whipes. First I also used up a pack of waterproof make-up remover whipes from Garnier which were nice. They smelled like grapes, weren't too dry but I do prefer a micellair water. I also used up a pack of Hema whipes, they aren't especially for make-up but I use these at the festivals in Summer and used up the remaining ones when I had to remove swatches at home. I do love these, they are very cheap (0.75 euros) and smell amazing. I also used up a pack of cotton pads by Liddl, they are horrible they seperate into pieces of fluff when you rub your eyes with them.
As usual my trusty Bioderma Node K shampoo and also 2 dryshampoos, both from batiste. First I used up the tropical one which I didn't like. The smell definitely wasn't for me and cleaningwise it just wasn't the best I've ever tried. The xxl volume on the other hand is great and has already been repurchased. It cleans the hair whilst giving it lots of volume and keeping that volume in place.
I used up 2 sample size conditioners. Both were great, both smell delicious and do the job greatly.
Lastly I used up a Catrice mascara, it was featured in lots of blogposts and was pretty decent but it did run out and get clumpy quicker than other mascaras. Also I finished the bodyshop shea sugar scrub and boy is this good. It smells delicious and really does exfoliate.

What have you finished lately?

The empties round up #3

Hi lovelies,
It's time for another emptiesblogpost. These are the times I'm actually proud I use stuff up and the pile of make-up things doesn't keep on growing. Let's see what's done, what shall be repurchased and what definitely won't be repurchased.
Hair
- Bioderma Node K shampoo
- L'oreal elseve anti-breakage conditioner
- Topmodel brushes
Let's see... The topmodel brushes won't be repurchased because I've already bought 3 of them but the brushpart always comes lose from the rest of the brush. The glue just doesn't handle knots very well. The shampoo will always be repurchased because my dermatologist recommends it and the conditioner makes my hair very soft but if it's anti-breakage? I don't know 'bout that.

Make-upremovers
- Biocura make up remover pads
- Nivea eyemake-up remover
- Garnier micellair water
- Shiseido creamy cleanser
The biocura make up remover pads aren't that great. The pads are really thin and rub your eyes which isn't comfortable. You need a lot of pads to get your make-up off and it still won't feel clean. The nivea eye make up remover is nothing special, it gets the job done but isn't mindblowing either. I'd prefer my micellair water from Garnier which I already repurchased. The creamy cleanser is great, it's really creamy as the name suggests. It has little granules in it that work or at least feel like a scrub. It's kinda expensive but I have another back up so we'll use it up.

Make-up
- Maybelline one by one mascara in satin black
- Rimmel 123looks mascara in waterproof
- L'oreal Miss Manga mascara in black
- 2be black edition ultra volume mascara
- Catrice lashes to kill false lash fibres mascara
I loved everysingle one of these except the Rimmel mascara. The Rimmel mascara really didn't do anything but I haven't seen it in the shops anymore so I don't think it's still available. All the other ones are pretty good in my opinion.

Randoms
- Rexona maximum protection deodorant in sensitive dry
- Kruidvat nailpolish remover
- Weleda pomegranate bodylotion sample
-Optive eyedrops
- The BodyShop vitamin E eyecream
- a bunch of cottonpads packages
The deodorant is my alltime favorite. The nailpolish remover did the job without a lot of effort. The bodylotionsample smelled absolutely discusting but you might love the smell. The eyedrops and cottonpads are decent enough for me and lastly the bodyshop eyecream, which is lovely but I lost the lid and after a couple of weeks the texture completely changed and the product separated so I couldn't use it anymore but I would repurchase the product.

I like you a lottle, It's like a little except a lot

Hi Lovelies,

I just got back from the hairdresser. I let them cut off about 10cm from my hair because it was so broken. My split-ends created split-ends. So I told my hairdresser that he had to cut off as much as needed to have healthy hair again. This is the result. Not the best pictures but hey who cares.
